The Origin of Number Brewery
Back in 2012, it was just me, a few tools, and a dream guided by YouTube videos.
I wasn’t thinking about building a brand or naming beers with clever puns.
I was focused on brewing something real, something I’d be proud to drink (if I didn’t die trying my first batch).
“As I started experimenting, each batch had its own personality/flavor. But instead of giving them fancy names, I kept it simple: I’d mark the caps with numbers to identify them more easily. 1, 2, 3, 4... No fancy stuff. Just brew and number.”
Then came the small parties.
People didn’t ask, “Can I have another amber ale?” - they said,
“Hey, can I get another Number One.”
“I’ll have another Number Two.”
“What’s that Number Four about?”
It clicked!
The beer didn’t need a name. It just needed a number, and a reason to be remembered.
That’s when Number Brewery was born in my mind.
Not from marketing. Not from trends.
But from real moments, shared beers, and a system that just made sense.
Today, we still keep it that way:
- Bold brews.
- Clean numbers.
- No fancy names.
No gimmicks. Just good beer.
Each number tells a story - of style, of flavor, of memory.
So when you order a Number Three, you're not just drinking a beer.
You're part of the original code. The system. The legacy.
